The 2020 Canada Day Fireworks have been postponed to July 4th at 11:45pm at two locations: 1) Muskoseepi Park over the the water of the reservoir by Grande Prairie Regional College and 2) CKC East football field (Community Knowledge Campus East of St. Joe's High School).

Residents are encouraged to watch fireworks that are closest to them and remain in their vehicles to view the displays as physical distancing and gathering restrictions issued by the Government of Alberta remain in effect.

In previous years, fireworks in GP were the night before Canada Day over the reservoir in Muskoseepi Park near GPRC. 2020 includes a revised plan.
